| SHORT HISTORY
Hamina's trade center Itäväylä started from a model that was designed by architecture office Kirsti & Markku Klami. After that Oy Rakennuspartio started to carry out the project at the land of former Poitsila's mansion.
After hard and eventful work, which took almost two years, trade center itäväylä was opened for the public in year 1991. In area, which once was covered with forest stood now Hamina's biggest and most comprehensive trade center. Building cost over 5 million euros, which can be seen in trade center's good and impressive quality.
The construction of the expansion of commercial centre Itäväylä began in the end of the year 2006. The expansion was finished in spring 2007. |

Commercial zone will be expanding in the same block. Building license has been granted for the upcoming Haminan Tuuliviiri. There will be about 1500m2 floor space . Premises can be asked from Juha Klami.

Boaters! Hamina's guest boat harbour is located in Tervasaari, from where you can easily walk to Itäväylä. When you visit Hamina and go ashore at guest boat harbour go towards Tervasaari's lattice bridge and continue until you arrive to Itäväylä. In our trade center you can shop, drop in for a cup of coffee or lunch and many other things. |
